Sunday Services

Sunday Morning – 10:30am

We know that gathering in a new place with new people can be daunting. As we welcome you into the place we call home, we want to make your experience as warm as possible.

We meet together from 10:30am each week. Wherever you might be on your faith journey, we invite you to join us as we celebrate who God is and what he has done for us through Jesus. It is our hope and prayer that you have an encounter with God which leaves you encouraged, challenged and equipped to serve him in the world.

Our services, lasting 75-90 minutes, include songs (modern and traditional), readings from the Bible, prayers and a sermon. Once a month we celebrate Communion.

When you arrive you’ll be greeted by our welcome team who will be able to help you find a seat and show you around our facilities if you wish.

Sunday Morning comes with a full children’s and youth work programme as well as a crèche for babies, toddlers and their parents. Young people are invited to go out to age appropriate groups, but are welcome to sit through the service if they wish.

Afterwards we serve tea and coffee, giving us an opportunity to catch up as well as meet new people.

There is no dress code!

Parking

We have limited parking in our car park which means we park in the neighbouring streets (Hamlin Lane, Wykes Road, Tarbet Avenue etc.). You can park on Pinhoe Road itself as the Bus Lane restrictions are only in place from 8am-9:30am, Monday to Friday. Please note that the opposite side of Pinhoe Road is residents parking only, including Sundays. We try to be as respectful as possible to our neighbours by not parking over their driveways or obstructing the view by parking on corners.

A number of different buses stop near PRBC and we are only two minutes walk from Polsloe Bridge train station.

Sunday Evening – 6:30pm

Our evening meeting is less formal and more flexible, more often than not taking the form of a Bible Study led by one of the leaders at PRBC. This gives us the chance to go deeper into the Bible and to ask questions/have a discussion. Topics covered have included Psalm 119, the Reformation and, most recently, the Bible Course from the Bible Society. One evening a month we celebrate Communion.

Freedom Service – 6:30pm (once a month)

One Sunday evening a month we have an evening of worship and prayer at PRBC. This service has a contemporary feel and is suitable for youth and those who feel youthful!
